After a long absence from my online posting, both here and at Moviefy, I’m much glad to present to you the new face of  the Senzafine blog, along with my new portfolio site.

It’s been almost two years since Senzafine: the Yahzee Skellington blog was released online. I tried to post whenever I had something important two share, or I had a touch of inspiration for write something moody. The original design worked very well for the content of the blog, a dark subtly texturized background with a banner presenting the Senzafine logo and myself, as a rag doll. I liked that design so much that I hardly felt the need to modify it.

But times change, and I found myself with the need o renew Senzafine, not only the blog, but my whole line of projects to start a new phase in my online, and professional journey.

During all this time offline I’ve been working on a new website for SenzafineCreative, my online portfolio and freelance web developed and graphic designer service. The portfolio design was intended to be both, minimalist and elegant, and I think I have achieved just that. Also, for the first time I can actually tell that I gave a damn about how it looked on the dreaded Internet Explorer, and in the end I accomplished my purpose. You can visit SenzafineCreative here. During the developing of SenzafineCreative I decided to update Senzafine as a whole too. A new logo for SenzafineMedia was designed, but keeping my beloved spiral and giving it more prominence (actually at one point I was going to ditch the text on this blog and have only the spiral).

The new design you see here is of course red, chosen to contrast with Moviefy which has a dark style, and SenzafineCreative light colors. I started the new theme from scratch in HTML5 and CSS3, so if you are using a modern standard compliant browser you’ll have the best experience navigating the blog. As always I strongly advice you to try Safari or Firefox, altough Opera and Chrome will do nicely too.

In only three days SenzafineMedia will be six years old, and what better way to celebrate it than a new face for the blog. Moviefy will receive a facelift too to celebrate another anniversary.
